Procedures Offered:

Our surgery department features state-of-the-art surgical suites staffed by a compassionate team ready to provide the best surgical care for your pets. We work together to offer advanced diagnostics and specialized orthopedic, soft tissue and minimally invasive procedures.

We provide surgery for the following orthopedic conditions:

• Cruciate ligament rupture

• Patellar luxation

• Fractures

• Hip dysplasia

• Elbow dysplasia

• Angular limb deformities

Soft Tissue Surgery:

• Emergency surgery and trauma repair

Oncologic surgery, including but not limited to:

• Resection of skin tumors

• Excision of tumors involving the spleen, liver, and intestines

• Adrenalectomy

• Lung lobectomy

• Resection of urogenital neoplasia

Cardiothoracic surgery for the treatment of:

• Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA)

• Persistent right aortic arch (PRAA)

• Pneumothorax

• Chylothorax

• Mediastinal masses

Head and neck surgery, including but not limited to:

• Brachycephalic syndrome evaluation and surgical treatment

• Total ear canal ablation (TECA)

• Arytenoid lateralization (“tie-back” for laryngeal paralysis)

Urogenital surgery, including but not limited to:

• Cystotomy and urethrotomy/urethrostomy

• Subcutaneous ureteral bypass (SUB) for ureteral obstruction

Abdominal surgery, including but not limited to:

• Portosystemic shunt (PSS) attenuation

• Cholecystectomy for biliary mucoceles

• Anal gland removal

Minimally Invasive Surgery:

• Laparoscopy

• Gastropexy

• Ovariectomy (Spay)

• Liver biopsies

• Thoracoscopy

• Thoracic duct ligation

• Subtotal pericardiectomy
