Hospital Director

Shannon Peacock

Shannon hails from Wisconsin, where she was born and raised, before trading cheeseheads for the Pacific Northwest in 1999. A devoted Packers fan, she takes football season as seriously as a game-winning touchdown! With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Shannon brings over 25 years of mental health leadership experience to the table. After initially being surprised to discover the role was at an animal hospital, she embraced the exciting challenge and proudly opened PacWest in August 2021.

Her extensive background in mental health administration has shaped the warm, positive culture at PacWest—something you can feel the moment you walk through the door. (Ask her about her experiences with high-risk offenders!) Shannon loves mentoring and coaching her leadership team, focusing on effective engagement and communication strategies.

When she’s not leading meetings, you’ll find Shannon spreading cheer as part of the Sunshine Committee or engaging with staff around the hospital. Outside of work, she’s often cheering on one of her two sons at their sports events, volunteering at their school and activities, or enjoying the great outdoors through hiking, camping, and gardening. She’s also known for her cooking skills and spending time with her beloved furry sidekicks, Magnus and Milo.  Additionally, Shannon is an active volunteer and advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a cause close to her heart since her eldest son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2022.
