DVM, Emergency

Cora Hollomon

Dr. Hollomon joined Pacific NW Pet ER and Specialty Center in summer of 2022. She graduated from St. Matthew’s School of Veterinary Medicine in the Cayman Islands after finishing her clinical rotation at University of Illinois. She completed a rotating internship in emergency, critical care, and specialty medicine in Arizona, and then continued as an emergency doctor. Dr. Hollomon moved to Oregon with her partner for a change of scenery, as she calls the desert of New Mexico home but was born in Oregon and loves the beauty of the PNW. She gained experience in general practice and urgent care medicine, as well as surgery - both elective and emergency. She appreciates all the experience she gained and friends she made, but is very happy to be back practicing emergency medicine exclusively in a clinic that emphasizes high standards of care and collaborative medicine for the best possible outcomes for your pets.

In her free time she enjoys artistic endeavors, cooking, traveling, and gaming with her husband, hitting up arcades, practicing retail therapy, watching horror movies, and spending time with her four cats (Benedict, Calvin, Basil, and Boots, who is special-needs and the princess of the group).
