Alexandra Hoff

Dr. Alexandra Hoff grew up in the Portland area and attended Oregon State University for her undergraduate degree and veterinary school. After graduating from vet school in 2020, she completed a rotating internship at Oklahoma State University followed by an emergency internship at a private practice in Wisconsin. She loves working in the ever-changing environment of emergency medicine with particular interests in toxicities, trauma, and emergency surgery. Dr. Hoff is fear-free certified and values doing everything possible to minimize stress during your pet's visit. She is committed to continued education, progression of the field of veterinary medicine, and providing the best possible care to your fur babies when emergencies happen. 

Outside of work, Dr. Hoff enjoys reading, dancing, hiking and backpacking, traveling, and riding horses. She has 3 cats named Lydia, Chacon, and Stone, a Pitbull mix named Valerie, and a horse named Joey. She is a foodie and loves trying new restaurants in the Portland area and during her travels. She is very excited to have the opportunity to join the Pacific Northwest Pet ER and Specialty team and to enjoy all of the wonderful things the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
