Dr. Alina Banuelos was born and raised in Camarillo, CA. She received her B.S in Biology from Azusa Pacific University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Missouri in 2016. During her last year of veterinary school, she gained a strong interest in emergency medicine, which led her to complete a small animal rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center. She returned home to Southern CA after the completion of her internship and has practiced exclusively emergency medicine in the area. She recently relocated to Vancouver, WA and is excited to join the Pacific Northwest ER team in serving this community. In her free time she enjoys hiking, all things outdoors, traveling and adventures, reading, playing games and spending time with her family, friends and cat.
