Dr. Ashley Parker was born and raised in Southern California. She received a Bachelor of Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and her veterinary degree from Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. She completed a rotating internship at the University of Florida. Dr. Parker completed her medical oncology residency at Colorado State University’s Flint Animal Cancer Center with a combined master's degree. She was involved in comparative medical research looking at oral squamous cell carcinoma in both humans and cats, as well as a study evaluating prognostic factors for dogs with lymphoma. Dr. Parker spends her free time with her husband Greg and their boisterous Brussels Griffon mix Ivan. They enjoy hiking, camping, and paddle boarding together. She is looking forward to exploring the beauty of this area and is very excited to be joining the oncology team at the Pacific Northwest Pet ER and Specialty Center.
