Dr. Thompson graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Following school, she explored primary practice and ER medicine before pursuing a Critical Care residency at a private practice residency in St. Louis, Missouri.  While she has a love for midwestern character, she elected to move to the PNW to join her sister, brother-in-law, and sweet niece.

Dr. Thompson enjoys the benefit of collaborating with multiple specialists to provide quality care. She has a special interest in emergency surgery, transfusion medicine, mechanical ventilation, toxicities, and plasmapheresis. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, painting, seeing live art, and curling up with a good book and her dogs, Gemma Marie and Penelope Dymphna.
