DVM, Emergency

Hilary Torres

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr.Torres has always had a passion for animals and their well-being. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, where she honed her skills and knowledge in veterinary care.

Since graduation, Dr. Torres has been dedicated to emergency veterinary medicine, working full-time at an emergency and specialty center. Her commitment to the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine is driven by her love for being the critical link of communication between pet owners and their beloved pets. She has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating acute abdominal issues, stabilizing critical patients, and performing soft tissue surgeries.

Her love for the outdoors led her and her partner, also a veterinarian, to relocate to the Pacific Northwest. Here, they enjoy the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities. Dr. Torres and her partner share their home with two spoiled cats, Archer and Harpo, along with a collection of feline-safe house plants.

Outside the emergency room, Dr. Torres enjoys exploring new restaurants, hiking, cooking, sampling sour beers, attending live music events, biking, and spending quality time with her partner, Brett.
