Kate Sycamore
Dr. Kate Sycamore was born in New Zealand and was raised in both New Zealand, and Melbourne, Australia. She attended Massey University, New Zealand, where she studied veterinary science. She worked in first opinion small animal practice after graduation and a few years into practicing decided to pursue specialty training. Dr. Sycamore then completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in Australia. She moved to the United States in 2011 to complete a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia. Following completion of her residency, she moved to St. Louis to work at a multi-discipline specialty hospital. In 2021 Dr. Sycamore moved to Vancouver, WA, to become part of the team at Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center. As an Internist, Dr. Sycamore’s clinical interests are broad but she is specifically interested in interventional procedures, immune-mediated disease, infectious disease, urinary disease, gastrointestinal disease, and communication. In her spare time, Dr. Sycamore enjoys hiking, trail running, traveling, cooking, horseback riding, and spending time with her long-haired ginger tabby, Eddie.
