Dr. Rebecca Campbell was born in Los Angeles, and pursued her Animal Science undergraduate degree at UC Davis, with a minor in medico-veterinary entomology. She then moved to Scotland and completed her veterinary degree in Edinburgh in 2017. After finishing school, she moved back to California and completed an internship in Sacramento. She has worked full-time in emergency since then and loves the variety of cases, never knowing what may walk in the door next. She has relocated up to the Portland area due to her love of the outdoors and in particular the forests of the Pacific Northwest. 

When not at work, Dr. Campbell can be found tasting local ciders, managing her worm composting bin, or walking in the woods. She is joined in Portland by her husband and her husky Meeko. She also has a pet corn snake Finnegan, and an Antilles Pink-Toe Tarantula named Bongo.
