Shelby joined the Pacific Northwest Pet ER Specialty Center from the first day of opening as the Emergency Team Supervisor. With a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine, Shelby embarked on her veterinary career at the age of 16. Over the years, she has delved into various specialties, accumulating a wealth of experience along the way. With 6 years dedicated to Emergency and Critical Care, 2.5 years navigating the complexities of Neurology, and 1 year in Internal Medicine, she brings a diverse skill set to the table. Not to mention her invaluable 2 years spent in the realm of Shelter Medicine.

Beyond the clinic walls, Shelby thrives on outdoor adventures, whether it's conquering hiking trails, summiting peaks, or paddle boarding and kayaking through local lakes. Gardening serves as her therapeutic escape, and she will never shy away from impromptu road trips.

Back home, Shelby shares her space with two beloved feline companions: Lilly, the resilient 20-year-old three-legged wonder, and Pastrami, the 5-year-old mischievous troublemaker. Shelby's dedication to veterinary care is matched only by her commitment to fostering a supportive and vibrant team environment.
